The 3 Primary MOTiVATiON Theories

The 4 primary motivation theories based upon Motivation science which I studied over the last 20 years.

1. Instinct Theory - Generally subconscious needs for survival.

2. Drives and Needs Theory - Motivation is to fulfill personal needs.

3. Arousal Theory - being motivated by how something makes you feel

Most of the reasons we do things can be explained by using one or all of these theories.

Understanding your motivation behind positive and negative actions is the FIRST steps for change.

I have found from experience that all 3 is very common for a reason to do something.

However lets take a look at the Drives and Needs theory in more details as its one of the most important to understand.

Physiological Needs - Food, Water, Warmth, sleep, sex and shelter are examples.

Safety Needs - enough money, physical and personal safety, good health and well being.

Social Needs - feeling love and belonging, friendship and intimacy.

MOTiVATiON - Getting Started

Are you achieving your goals and objectives or at least moving towards them.
Whats you MOTiVE?
Whats your WHY?
WHY do you wake up each morning ready to take the world on?
What drives you to achieve?
WHY do you want to achieve your goals, what will you receive in return?
WHY will you do whatever it takes to make it?
WHAT will help you pick yourself up when your down?
 
Each day I start each morning with at least 20 minutes of Motivational Speeches from Spotify or YouTube search Motivation and you will find lots of audios and videos to listen\watch. I also post Daily Videos on this page, so you can feel free to use these.
I find it also helps to listen to Motivational audio\video throughout the day anytime I feel like I need some MOTiVATiON to pick me up. As your energy and mood will drop throughout the day.

MORNINGS MATTER

Its all about starting with the right frame of mind each day. each day is like a mini life, your life is made up of days, and EACH DAY COUNTS. Just like each breathe counts. We came to this world with a certain number of days and breaths so make the most of each, and dont take not even ONE for granted.
 
Get up at least 2-3 hours before you start you day. For example If you start your normal day and its activities at 9am or be up at 6/7am.
 
Ideally you want at least 2 hours to work on yourself each Morning to get the MX6 program with the 6 M's. But of course this is about #1 of the program.
 
The lazy will not cut this and make it. If one cant commit to at least waking up early and putting in the work ahead of the majority, they have no chance of any success with that mindset.
 
If you study many of the most productive and successful people they all had one thing in common - they were early risers.
